duckpond, let's get a negative with that biopsy. Fingers crossed and a prayer as well to cover both ends of the spectrum.

It can seem to sound like whining, this talk of doctors and (potential in your case dp) sickness, but it is real as life gets. I too have had medical difficulties this spring. I frankly can't stand my numerous standing medical appointments, blood work (ect.), these supposed chemicals (pills) that will 'cure' me and my almost completely lack of energy all this leaves me with. Which is funny in a way b/c that's why I reluctantly went in the first place.

Where does all this technology, and some is positive and life changing, ultimately leave us? Usually alone (you lived a long time, most of the family and friends you grew up with are dead) and completely at mercy of the facility where you are. I'll be damned if I die in a hospital unless it's massive acute trauma. Now, this is how to write a happy post!

You come back with a clean bill of health dp. And no more biopsies for awhile (ever maybe). :-)

Thanks for the kind thoughts, Micah. I'm in complete agreement with you and Ring. After so many countless visits, blood tests and invasive 'procedures' - with no better idea of 'the deal' than when we started, I've become strangely numb, desensitized and flatly cynical about each successive visit - marvelous modern medicine meets 'the great unknown' . . . 'Seastones' makes more sense to me than the latest quacks' conjecturing. I have a good, dear friend who is a 30 year cancer survivor who regularly states that "it's not always the 'disease' that kills you, but the treatments can ruin your life" - words of wisdom. Micah, you take care of yourself - and get well. Three prescriptions that I'll always stand by - good friends, good music and good attitude - go a long way towards the healing process. Be well . . . and thanks again for your calling in 'both ends of the spectrum' - much appreciated, and same back at you.

Wow, have to agree with "micah". I just read through this thread for the first time. All I can say is, "positive thoughts, healing vibes and prayers to all my "FORMULITE" brothers and sisters who are now in distress".

"What do you want me to do
to do for you to see you through
A a box of rain will ease the pain
and love will see you through

Just a box of rain -
wind and water -
Believe it if you need it,
if you don't just pass it on"
